1. Teachers in charge will take First Graders to the desks in
the middle of the room for the written exam. The First
Graders’ exam is for only addition/subtraction skills.
2. After the students are seated properly, teachers will
distribute the exam papers and the students will be
instructed not to open the cover wait for instructions.
3. If students’ names are not already printed on the cover
sheet, students will be instructed to write their names on
the cover sheets. The teachers will be circulating among
the students for help in writing their names.
4. After names are written, the head administrator will
announce that the students will have 10 minutes for the
exam, and they should try to solve as many problems as
possible mentally before the time is over, but they are
free to use abacus. Then the head administrator will start
the exam and run the stopwatch adjusted for 10 minutes.
During the exam, background music can be played for 10
minutes.
5. When the time is over, the students will be instructed to
put the pencils on the desks, and the proctoring teachers
will quickly collect the papers.
6. As soon as the papers are collected, the desks will be
vacated and and new group of students will be taken to
the exam desks. And the test will be administered
similarly.
7. Second graders will have addition/subtraction exam for
10 minutes first. After the papers are collected, they will
stay in the desks and take the multiplication/division test
for 5 minutes.
8. As soon as the exam papers are collected, they should be
