D. Preparations & Start up
1. Signing the Franchise Agreement
2. Finding a good place (building or flat) for Menar Center and beginning
furnishing it.
3. Teacher Training Program for Franchise owners. If Center managers
are not planning to teach, finding 2 suitable, preferably young (25-35
years of age), energetic teachers who have good communication skills
especially with children.
4. Getting the teachers certified. Center Managers are still encouraged to
participate in the Teacher Training program even if they don't intend to
teach in class.
5. Ordering and obtaining at least 2 Teacher Abacuses and 50 student sets
from Menar Main Center.
6. Publicizing Menar through advertisement campaigns, brochures,
posters, stands, school visits, meetings, etc.
7. Once the place and the teachers are ready, planning an opening
ceremony with participation of as many parents as possible.
8. When student registration starts, they will be separated into age groups
and will be put in classes accordingly.
9. Preschool students will be named as group A. Their classes will be
tagged as 1A1, 1A2, 1A3 and so on. The first 1 indicates that they are
first year students. A stands for ages 4-6. The number (1, 2, 3, etc.)
separates each preschool class from one another.
10. Group B consists of students aged 7-8. Classes of these students are
tagged as 1B1, 1B2, 1B3 and so on.
11. Older students from age 9 through 12 are grouped as C and their
classes are tagged as 1C1, 1C2, 1C3 and so on.
12. When these classes finish the first school year, they will be named as
2A1, 2A2, 2B1, 2B2, 2C1, 2C2 where the initial 2 represents the
second year.)
